Launching NAKIVO Backup And Replication on DSM 7 After Upgrading From DSM 6

Problem 

NAKIVO Backup & Replication does not start on Synology NAS after upgrading from DSM 6 to DSM 7. 

Solution 

If you have NAKIVO Backup & Replication v10.x (except v10.4.1) installed, do the following:

  1. Optionally, run Self-backup before upgrading to Synology DSM 7.

  2. After the upgrade, use the repair function to repair NAKIVO Backup & Replication.

  3. After the repair process has been completed, NAKIVO Backup & Replication should be working again.
