Question

How can I configure backup to a Linux server?

Answer

  1. Install a Transporter on the Linux machine where you want to keep your backups.

  2. Add the newly installed Transporter to NAKIVO Backup & Replication.

  3. Create a new Backup Repository on the machine on which you have installed the Transporter.

Now you can choose the newly created Backup Repository when creating backup jobs.

Important
To avoid disrupting NAKIVO Backup & Replication processes and to avoid data corruption, add the application to the whitelist/exclusions list of the antivirus software running on the machine on which the NAKIVO Backup Repository is set up.
