Two-Factor Authentication

NAKIVO Backup & Replication allows you to add an additional layer of security by enabling two-factor authentication (2FA). When 2FA is enabled, an extra verification step is added to the user login process to help prevent unauthorized access to the solution and the organization’s backup data.

With two-factor authentication enabled, user authentication requires entering a verification code generated in one of the following ways:

• A code generated by the Google Authenticator mobile app

• A code sent to the specified email address

• One of the single-use backup codes
