Installing on Buffalo NAS
NAKIVO Backup & Replication can be installed on Buffalo NAS devices that run a supported Windows-based operating system.
Before installing the product, ensure the following:

The Buffalo NAS device runs a supported Windows operating system.

You have administrative access to the NAS.
-
The system meets the minimum hardware and software requirements.
-
The NAS has network access to the infrastructure you plan to back up.
To install NAKIVO Backup & Replication on a Buffalo NAS, perform the following steps:

Download the latest version of NAKIVO Backup & Replication for Windows from the official website.

Copy the installation file to the Buffalo NAS.

Log in to the NAS using an account with administrator permissions.

Run the installation file (.exe).

In the setup wizard, follow the on-screen instructions:

Accept the license agreement.
-
Select the installation directory.
-
Choose the components to install:

Full solution (Director + Transporter)
-
Transporter only (optional)
-
-

Complete the installation.

After installation:

Open a web browser.
-
Enter the following address: https://<NAS_IP_address>:4443

Log in to the NAKIVO Backup & Replication web interface.
Notes
Buffalo NAS devices running Linux-based operating systems are not supported for direct installation.
Ensure that required ports are open and not blocked by firewall settings.
For optimal performance, verify that sufficient system resources are available.
