Cannot Access Transporter

Problem

The transporter is inaccessible.

Solution

  1. Ensure that the transporter host is not experiencing performance bottlenecks. Check the following resources.

  • Ensure the CPU usage is within acceptable limits.

  • Confirm that sufficient RAM is available.

  • Check disk IOPS to rule out storage issues.

  1. Check network connectivity and firewall settings.

  • Ensure the ICMP Traffic is allowed. Run the following command. This should successfully return responses if the transporter is reachable.

ping <IP_of_transporter>

  • Verify that the following ports are open and accessible.

    • 9446

    • 9448–10000

  • Ensure the antivirus, security software, or Windows Defender is not blocking the NAKIVO transporter service (bhsvc).
