Harden Transporter Alarms

Problem

One of the following alarms is displayed when using the Transporter secured with Harden Transporter functionality:

The "name" transporter is inaccessible. The "Transporter IP" server is not reachable. Make sure the server is reachable and try again.

"Job\action" cannot be started. None of the transporters are currently available or reachable over network.

Solution

The reason for these alarms can be one of the following:

  • Certificate has expired:

    • Solution: Reinstall or update the Transporter to reinstall the certificate.

  • Certificate has changed:

    • Solution: Reinstall or update the Transporter to reinstall the certificate.

  • Transporter ID has changed:

  • Transporter is not reachable:

    • Solution: Make sure the machine housing the Transporter is operational. Additionally, check if the network is configured correctly.

  • Pre-shared key is incorrect:

    • Solution: Reinstall or update the Transporter to change the master password.

  • Pre-shared key is missing:

    • Solution: Reinstall or update the Transporter to set the master password.

  • CA certificate is removed/missing:

    • Solution: Make sure the certificate file is present. If necessary, reinstall the Transporter to change the certificate or update the current Transporter to reinstall the certificate.

  • CA-signed certificate is removed:

    • Solution: Make sure the certificate file is present. If necessary, reinstall the Transporter to change the certificate or update the current Transporter to reinstall the certificate.

  • CA-signed certificate is missing:

    • Solution: Make sure the certificate file is present. If necessary, reinstall the Transporter to change the certificate or update the current Transporter to reinstall the certificate.

  • Incorrect master password:

    • Solution: Make sure you’ve entered the correct password.

  • Connection to <hostname or IP>:<port> was refused:

    • Solution: If this error is encountered, verify if the port is open on the machine housing the Transporter and check whether the network is configured correctly.

  • An internal error has occurred:

    • Solution: If this error is encountered, check your connection and try refreshing the Transporter in a few minutes.

  • Target Transporter is out of date:

    • Solution: Update the Transporter software to the current version.
