Backup Copy to Tape Recovery Job Wizard: Backups

On the Backups page of the wizard, proceed as follows:

1. Select one of the following views:

   • Jobs & Groups: In this view, do the following:

     1. Select one or more backups of the appropriate hypervisor type.

     2. Select one or more backup or backup copy jobs that contain backups of the appropriate hypervisor type.

        Notes

        • Backup and backup copy jobs and backups of unsupported hypervisor types are disabled.

        • Backup and backup copy jobs using the backup repository as a destination are disabled.

        • Replication, recovery, flash VM boot jobs, and their children are disabled.

        • If the wizard is initiated from the Group dashboard and all jobs in the group use tape as a destination, the wizard opens in the Recover from tape mode.

        • The item selected in the navigation tree during the recovery initiation is expanded by default.

        • If java transporter (or java transporter extension) is uninstalled from repository's transporter, items may not load in recovery wizard.

   • Tape: In this view, select one or more tape backups available for recovery in the left pane.

2. You can search for a specific backup, job, or group (depending on the selected view) by entering its name into the Search field.

   

3. Click Next to go to the next step.
