vCenter Server is unavailable.

With NAKIVO Backup & Replication, you can add the necessary ESXi host to the inventory and run a recovery job even if vCenter Server is unavailable. You can add the same ESXi multiple times to the inventory.

Take the following actions to recover the VMs:

  1. Disassociate the VMware Host from the vCenter Server by connecting directly to the ESXi server.

    vSphere Desktop Client

  2. Add the required ESXi host to the inventory.

  3. Create and run a recovery job.

  4. Delete the recovery job.

  5. Remove the ESXi host from the inventory.

  6. Refresh the vCenter item in the inventory.

  7. Add the disassociated VMware Host back to the vCenter Server.
