Question

Why is Network Acceleration failing to work?

Answer

Network Acceleration can compress and reduce traffic between a pair of Transporters. When you create a job, automatic Transporter selection is enabled by default. During the job run, the product can choose one Transporter as the source and target. In this case, Network Acceleration will not be possible. To work around this issue:

  1. Edit your jobs.

  2. Click on the Options page. 

  3. Select Manual-configured for all VMs from the Transporters drop-down list.

  4. Choose a different source Transporter from the list of Transporters available.
