Question

What happens if the Active Directory group entered in the Preferred prioritized groups field is not found?

Answer

When you enter a group’s name in the Preferred prioritized groups field, NAKIVO Backup & Replication sets it as the parent group.

In case the preferred group is not found, there can be two reasons for this:

• If more than one AD group is entered in the Preferred prioritized groups field, NAKIVO Backup & Replication chooses the next AD group in the list from left to right as the parent group.

• If the field is left empty or the AD group becomes unavailable, NAKIVO Backup & Replication sets the primary Active Directory group as the parent group.
