The Attached Disks Are Not Detached After the RTR Job Run

Product version: 10.10

Last modified: 8 January 2024

Problem

If the Transporter accidentally shuts down on the user's side (manually or due to power-outage) during the real-time replication job run, the job fails; the replica and journal disks of the Transporter VM stay attached in the vSphere client.

As a result, after restarting the OS of the transporter VM it cannot be powered on.

Solution

In your vSphere client, remove the attached disks from the Transporter VM manually and then restart it.
