The Attached Disks Are Not Detached after the RTR Job Run
Product version: 10.11
Last modified: 12 February 2024
Problem
If the Transporter accidentally shuts down on the user's side (manually or due to power-outage) during the real-time replication job run, the Journal Service cannot detach the replica disk and the job fails.
After restarting of the OS of the transporter VM, the replica disks remain attached in the vSphere client with the following task status shown during the VM reconfiguration stage:
The operation is not allowed in the current state.
Solution
In your vSphere client, remove the attached disks from the Transporter VM manually and then restart it.
