Using Dedicated Backup or Replication Network

Question

I have two separate networks: one for production workload and another one for backup/replication.

How can NAKIVO Backup & Replication be configured to use the dedicated backup or replication network?

Answer

To limit NAKIVO Backup & Replication traffic to the dedicated network, check the following:

• Create a dedicated network that does not interfere with your production network.

• Make sure that the NAKIVO Backup & Replication server and ESXi hosts are connected to the dedicated network.

Once NAKIVO Backup & Replication and the ESXi hosts are connected to the same dedicated network, NAKIVO Backup & Replication will start using this network automatically.
