Replication The replication or recovery job fails , and with the following error appears:
There is not enough space on the target datastore/storage
During replication and recovery jobs with enabled Hot Add transport mode, NAKIVO Backup & Replication checks the amount of free space on the target datastore or storage. If there is not enough of free space, the VM processing will fail, fails and the above error will appear appears in the product dashboard.
To solve the problem, make sure that the following requirements are met:
- For the initial VM replication and VM recovery, the amount of free space on the target storage should be larger than the size of all initial replicas or the size of all recovered VMs of the job.
- For the incremental replication and recovery jobs, there the target storage should be have more than 10% of free space available on the target storage.
If replication or recovery job fails when Hot-Add mode is enabled, make sure there is enough space on a target datastore or storage.
