After space reclaim was executed, backup or recovery does not start.
An error message is displayed:
Hardware failures, transporter reboot or storage disconnection during space reclaim task can cause metadata and backup data to be locked, partially written, or even corrupted.
In case the last space reclaim task was not completed successfully or was not gracefully stopped, any interaction with such backup repository will be locked to prevent any further data corruption.
- Do not attempt to solve the problem yourself and do not try to enforce new backups to such repository.
- Please create a support bundle and contact NAKIVO Support immediately.
To avoid disrupting NAKIVO Backup & Replication processes and data corruption, add the application to the whitelist / exclusions list of the antivirus software running on the machine where the NAKIVO backup repository is set up.
