File Recovery: SATA HDD's

Problem

File recovery fails if the Virtual Device Node for the HDD is SATA and the Transporter that proceeds with the job is installed on Windows.

Background

Currently, the NAKIVO Backup & Replication Transporter installed on Windows cannot proceed with the file-level recovery.

Solution

Consider one of two options:

• Changing Virtual Device Node to SCSI or IDE

• Using a Transporter installed on Linux.
